Printing and Building Tips
Recommended Paper:
Card stock 65lb. White for HD designs, otherwise do whatever color you like!
Printing
All of the PDFs are US Letter (8.5" x 11") page size but they should also print without problems on A4. Always print 100% scale.
Please use the Contact page for more questions about paper sizes.
Poplocks
Poplocks are by Josh Buczynski used under CC license: "BY-NC-SA"
Downloading PDFs
Almost all Netroids are free and publicly available via Google Drive public links. If a PDF does not download please DO NOT use the "Request Access" feature in Google Drive. Access will not be granted this way. Please contact us via the contact page on this site if a PDF does not download for you.
Double Sided Lock Technique: (paper printed double wide locks)
For card stock single locks skip to the first two steps shown above.
Flex Locks
Sockets
The best way to make the Poplocks sockets is to buy a 5/8" inch hole cutter from your local scrapbooking shop.
Here's one brand on Amazon: http://amzn.com/B0018N7NBM
Michael's Crafts Reflections-Recollections brand makes a good one.
Also try searching for circle punch 5/8" on eBay to find a good socket punch.
If you don't have a 5/8" hole punch yet, try a CD as a hole template!
Contact Us if you have trouble finding a punch.
Double Sided Printing
Do a few test prints to see if your printer aligns images correctly when doing double sided printing.
Machine Cutting
Although Netroids are designed to be hand-cut by anyone, a Silhouette Portrait cutting machine is used for prototyping and quick design! See more of their products at:
